Peptide Tracker & Calculator
Reconstitution math and dose logging for research peptides
Peptide Tracker & Calculator is a web tool that does the arithmetic people get wrong when reconstituting lyophilized peptides. You enter the vial strength in milligrams, the volume of bacteriostatic water you added, and the dose you want in micrograms, and it returns the number of insulin-syringe units to draw. The step that catches people out is that a U-100 syringe is graduated in units of volume, not in units of drug, so the same 250 mcg dose is 5 units on a 5 mg vial reconstituted with 2 mL and 10 units on the same vial reconstituted with 4 mL. Get the dilution wrong and the error is a clean multiple, not a rounding error. The tool also keeps a dose log with dates and running totals, so a titration schedule can be checked against what was actually taken rather than what was planned. No account is needed for the calculator.
