Eligibility visard for emigration — live-monitored programs, transparent scoring, verified providers

Problem

People deciding where to emigrate choose blind — agencies have conflicts of interest (they sell what they service), aggregators give generic rankings with no personalization, and program data goes stale fast (eligibility thresholds, costs, timelines change without warning — Portugal's own Golden Visa rules shifted from 5-year to 10-year naturalization requirement in 2025, catching applicants mid-process).

Solution

A wizard that scores real eligibility (not generic rankings) against a continuously monitored database of relocation/residency/citizenship programs — each data point timestamped with last-verified date and linked source. Rule-based, explainable scoring (no black-box ML at MVP) so every output traces back to its source. Output is a personalized roadmap (programs qualified for, estimated cost, timeline, confidence level) that connects to a marketplace of vetted service providers (immigration lawyers, document prep, relocation services) — monetized via lead/referral fee, not advice fees, keeping the platform out of unauthorized-practice-of-law territory.

Roadmap

  1. 1

Program database schema + monitoring daemon design — source structure with last_verified_date, source_url, status, change_log per program

    In progress
  2. 2

Seed database: 15-20 flagship programs (Golden Visa Portugal, UAE Golden Visa, digital nomad visas EU, Caribbean CBI) with verified sources

    Planned
  3. 3

Eligibility scoring engine v1 — rule-based, weighted, explainable output

    Planned
  4. 4

Wizard UI — intake form (citizenship, assets, profession, goal, timeline) → scored roadmap output

    Planned
  5. 5

GEO/SEO landing pages for high-intent queries ("emigrate from [country] to [country]", "digital nomad visa comparison") — content the monitoring daemon also keeps fresh

    Planned
  6. 6

Provider marketplace layer — onboarding flow for lawyers/agencies, referral-fee model, transparency disclaimers ("informational only, not legal advice")

    Planned
